| Description: | Weekly Cadet meetings are run for young people aged 10-17. The Cadets have an exciting, fresh programme run by volunteers and other youth members, which they work through in order to achieve their Grand Prior award. The activities could include anything from looking at first aid, to doing a photography project to looking at the dangers of drugs. The Cadet Units meet weekly on a Thursday evening during term-time only. They can get involved in a number of other activities and may result in being trained up in leadership skills or training skills or may go out on first aid duties themselves. |
