In Care Matters it says that all the social care teams in the United Kingdom need to be "making care work for children by giving children and young people in care the right to be listened to". Your carers and social workers will already be listening to your views and concerns and trying to make sure you feel supported and cared for. Also there are regular reviews to decide what care you will receive. Your views are very important to making those decisions. Also, people should tell you what decisions have been made. If the changes you asked for haven't been made, someone should tell you why. If you aren’t happy with the decisions being made about the care you receive or want more support to have your say, you can speak directly to Charlie Moat or Sara Watts. ** more information coming soon** You can also get involved in deciding how services are run. The In-Care Council will be working to find out what issues are important to children and young people in or moving on from care.
